A little snippet of today!

 So this post is a little different, it is a little snippet of pictures and a few words to sum up my day.

After doing some work this morning I decided to have a wander into town. Heres some photos of my OOTD…

I chose this outfit as it is just a nice, comfy and casual outfit to go out in the day in.

Once I popped into town I didn't have long as I had to be somewhere else so I darted to two shops that I knew wouldn't fail me. Heres what I got…

Gingham Skinny Jeans- PRIMARK - £13.00 each

Light Pink Mini Structured Tote Bag- River Island - £30.00

When I reached PRIMARK I casually walked through having a little nose… Then all of a sudden these beautiful items caught my eye! For so long I had been wanting some checkered skinny jeans, & I had seen some at Topshop a while ago but I always put them down due to the price tag! Basically the ones I had wanted for some long were the Gingham check & were £38 a pair (they come in different colours) and I just couldn't justify spending £76 on two pairs of jeans! Anyhow when I glanced my eyes over onto the Denim matt in PRIMARK I came across pretty much the exact same jeans but for a cheaper price! At £13 a pair I would of been silly to of said no!

Then I headed to the beautiful River Island and here my amazing purchase!

This bag is to die for! For one it is a baby pink; my favourite colour, two it is a nice small size but it still has 3 spacey compartments and three I just love it! £30.00 is such a small price to pay for such beauty, I  can't wait to use it!

After I headed on to my other jobs I then returned hair and decided to colour my hair and do my nails!

Dipped Hem Heaven!

Gone are the days of the boring plain and simple style of the skirt... Hello dipped hem! I have a new found love for these skirts & i cannot stop buying them. This goes the same for the dresses that are now out in this style... sooo cute! Heres a few that i recently purhcased...

1. PRIMARK, £8.00

Yes this little number is just £8.00 from good old Primark! I love this skirt because its so casual but you can really dress it up if you were going to the pub by just adding a pair of heels. Its quite floaty and cool. I love the black waistband detail which just gives it that little adding touch. Its just above the knee length at the front, and comes half way down the back of your legs. This looks lovely with or without tights/leggings.. matched with a paid of ankle boots.

 

 2. RIVER ISLAND, £25.00

When i saw this skirt i completely fell in love. The pictures don't do it justice at all... the aztec pattern is just so nice, and the colours are so summery! It comes with a tan coloured belt with gold detail at the front. Its quite short at the front which is fab for summer or for on holiday with a nice bikini, but its also subtle enough to wear for a more formal purpose as it becomes really long at the back almost reaching your ankles. I think this skirt is my favourite so far!

 3. RIVER ISLAND, £5.00!

No-one can resist a bargin huh? This was just £5.00... yes FIVE POUNDS! Its not so much an dipped hem skirt, as its the same length at the front and back, but it does go shorter on the sides creating almost a triangle effect. Its a lovely chiffon material, and comes with a brown belt... for £5.00 i couldn't say no! The pattern is quite vintage looking... team this with a brown bullet and jobs a good en!

Never say never

Okay, so i may be a little bit behind with the times- but oh my god fur (faux) headbands!!

I hate the fact that because i have quite a high forehead i can't really wear my hear in a middle parting, and these are just beauty's for me cause now i can and my forehead is hidden! Never say Never!

Id seen such a beautiful one in Topshop like the one I'm wearing above, except it was in a burgundy red colour- SO nice! Buuut as usual with my luck they were sold out within like a day! I tried online and they also didn't have any so i went in a big fat mood as you do! Then i went into River Island and spotted this beauty! It was in the sale!! Previously had been £14.99 (i think) and i got it for £6, BARGIN! Its basically just a headband with elastic at the back to stretch over your head, full of faux fur! They did have some other colours too, a lilac and a grey and possibly some others... however I'm not sure if they still have them cause they were selling fast! I was a little worried that it would make me itch or actually hurt my head after wearing it for so long, but its so comfy! Heres my lilac purple one...

This one is just as fab (looks a little pinky on this photo but its more lilac in real life).. probably a little more outgoing as its brighter but still really cute! This was actually only £3 in the sale so a defo must have for me!

Whats in my bag?!

Right lovely's this is my first 'whats in my bag' post! I'm quite excited to do this as i've been meaning to do it for ages now and only just got chance while I'm ahead with scheduling posts :)

First off we will get started with which bag i am using at the moment! I change my bags pretty much on a daily basis, but sometimes i forget and then its too late!

This is my bag that i am currently using ....

This beauty of a bag is obviously Pauls Boutique! I brought this from the beautiful Olivia as she was selling it so i grabbed the chance while i could as i have always wanted one! Its such a pretty pink colour and i love it!
Inside we haveeee.....

As you can see the lining inside is just fab! Its like a silky material and the print is leopard print! It makes me smile every time i look at it! I do tend to carry quite a lot of junk in my handbags, but on this occasion id say its pretty tidy with just the basics!

So this is what i have in my handbag...

Yes, this small bag can fit all this stuff in! Heres a close up picture...

As i mentioned before, all the stuff i carry in my handbag is pretty basic... Heres a list of what i currently have hiding away inside :)

1. The main thing in my handbag is obviously my purse! It is just a black purse, quite a big one, and it was from River Island for about £16.99... I love their purses!
2. Secondly my makeup bag; is there any girls that don't carry makeup around with them? Im not going to write about whats in my makeup bag as i can do that for another post :) (can't remember where it is from sorry!)
3. A basic necessity is tissues, and yes as i do love zebras i have zebra tissues! I got these from Topshop for like £1, really cute!
4. Pocket sized mirror! I loved this mirror, its from Primark and i got it in the sale for £1, its just so pretty, and a basic must have!
5. Next we have my glasses! Im supposed to wear glasses for reading, writing and driving as i suffer from migraines, but i don't wear them as much as i should! I can't remember where i had the leopard print case from, but my glasses are from Tesco options, and as you can see are black and pink like most of the things i own!
6. Hand Sanitizer, PINK hand sanitizer! This is fab and a must have! I work in retail so my hands get quite mucky after recovery and touching metal holders so this is defo the way forward and it smells so nice! I had this from Next for £1.75
7. Body sprays! These two body sprays are both 'Charlie', the blue one is 'Into Glamour' and the pink is 'Pink' ... i don't really have a favourite body spray, i just buy them to freshen up. I never take my perfume out with me as it always ends up leaking!
8. Finally some Nivea hand cream! I carry this with me just incase my hands feel dry and need some moisture :)
