Keeping it simple: #OOTD

The time has come for all the weekend shopping trips to start getting those christmas presents for our loved ones. When I go shopping I hate wearing anything thick or heavy as I just get to hot, I like to be cool and comfy. Also I don't know if this is just me but when I go shopping I sometimes come home more depressed than when I went as I see other people dressed really nice and I see lots of lovely clothes then look at my own outfit and think what a waste of money, Heres to just a little post wearing something pink for an afternoon of shopping; and of course anything pink is a favourite to me! This is a simple affordable outfit that won't break the bank!

Here I was stuck, I really wanted to wear my knee high tan boots from New Look but then I remembered as I mentioned above how hot I get when I'm shopping, and so I decided to change them to the following for more comfort...

Jumper - PRIMARK - £5.00 (sale)
Jeggins - PRIMARK - £7.00
Cut Out Buckle Ankle Boots - SELECT FASHION - £20
Necklace - PRIMARK - £2.00 (sale)
*Any other jewellery shown is Pandora*

What I love most about this outfit is that it is simple, pink & comfy. I love the jumper and it was an absolute bargain from Primark. It is pink knit at the front and has a white blouse type back which just makes it so different from all the other jumpers I have seen out at the minute which are really thick and heavy. I also really like how it has the collar. Usually I would wear a blouse under my jumper to create this look, but then once again get really hot and end up taking off the jumper. This is perfect as it creates the look without having to wear something underneath. This was £5 in the sale reduced from £12- I just couldn't say no to it, especially as it is pink!
I decided to pair this with a simple pair of blue jeggins and finally decided to go with my cut out buckled ankle boots for my foot wear. These boots were a bargain too from Select Fashion at just £20! I have seen so many ankle boots on the high street at some shocking prices for what they actually are! I love the gold detailing on the buckle on these!
Lots of people were looking at me like I was mad walking around with no coat, but I just can't do with being hot and bothered when shopping!
So theres my outfit which totals £34... affordable and comfy!

Have you started your christmas shopping for 2014?

Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Hello lovely bloggers. Its been such a long time since i have been on here its unreal. I lost my connection with the blogging world from starting my new career, but i have had quite a few messages asking me where i am, if I'm coming back, when will i blog again... so here i am.
Thank you to my followers who have stayed with me and not clicked that dreadful 'unfollow' button... it means a lot that you stuck around :)
Ive been so busy lately, but I've just about got myself back on track again with things in my life- therefore i feel i can now commit to my hobby again rather than letting it take a back seat whilst i got all the boring things in life sorted out.
In terms of what I've been up to while I've been away.. well its been work work and more work, but i love my new job so much. Its such a pleasure to work with young children and help them, and theres so many smiles that come from seeing them succeed. Oh and I'm still very much blonde for those of you who are thinking 'i wonder what colour her hair is now'.

Dress is from VERY as seen on tv, please ignore mums messy room!

It was my birthday a couple of weeks ago, i turned 24! I had lots of lovely presents... and i got myself a new car! I hated parting with mine for sentimental reasons but it was time to give it up and get a new one, so now i have a shiny new C1 and i love her! :)

So its that time... its beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Who's excited?? I am! Although i do feel as i get older I'm starting to not care as much about presents... its more how i spend Christmas time, and who with. I put our Christmas tree up the other night, even though it will always be a tough thing for me to do from loosing my dad as that was his speciality and he loved Christmas, but i put it up for him as life does indeed carry on.

Ive done most of my Christmas shopping and got the bits that i have brought wrapped up, but i feel theres still so much more to buy! I dont have any plans at all at the minute for Christmas festivities, but im not going to worry because usually those last minute plans turn out to be the best!

Anyway i hope you are all well, il be back tomorrow with a blog post... not too sure what my first post back will be on, but i have a few new bits and bobs i could do a haul on...

Until next time

All i want to do is be more like me, & less like you..

Cardigan- New look
T-Shirt- Primark
High-Waisted Skinny Jeans- Primark
Hat- Primark

Just thought id do this little OOTD even though it is not todays outfit, I've just had this picture for a while now & not yet used it! Most of this outfit comes from Primark, and it is just a simple and comfy one! I do think that Primark are actually stepping up their game at the moment as they have quite a few nice things in, even if they have started to put their prices up!
Its started to snow where i am today, I'm not sure if it will stick or not as the roads are still a bit wet from the previous rain we have had... but all in all so far it is trying its best! My car is covered in snow bless it!
As we all know it is now officially the christmas countdown, wooo! I aren't really feeling very festive at the minute, as from tomorrow through to next Saturday which is actually christmas eve, i have a lot of shifts at work to do including a lot of late nights... and I'm only getting christmas day off, booo! Im sure by the end of my shift on christmas eve i will be ready for that yummy christmas dinner :)

Hope you all enjoy this last week before christmas... enjoy the snow if you fortunate to get it!

These boots were made for walking...

So i once again didn't manage to get a 'Wandering Wednesday' post to you all yesterday as i was mega busy... so i thought i would post this instead! Heres just a few pictures of my week since Sunday!
Sunday night after work i went to a local pub with a few mates for the pub quiz and a few well earned glasses of wine! Turned out to be a funny night! My next highlight was Tuesday, after working for ( hours i came out of work to find the amazing Coca-Cola Christmas truck in our town! It was so beautiful, just like the one off the tele! Lol. Following this i had a busy pamper night (which included using different Barry M nail paint for the colours of the boys!) as on Wednesday i got up at 5.10am, left the house at 6.10am and made my way to Manchester! I was planning on seeing JLS at their signing for their new album Jukebox. We arrived there at 7.30am, wristbands went meant to be given out until 8am, but it turned out 400 people decided to camp out on Tuesday night and they had all gone! So unfair! After this we decided to walk around Manny for a bit. I love it there, its where i want to live! I also went to the Trafford Centre as wel as being in Manchester Picadilly... There Christmas tree is amazing! It has eyes, nose & a mouth... AND it sings Christmas songs!! .... On the way back to the car i saw the amazing lamp that is posted as a picture above! Im not sure how much it was as i didn't have time to look... But it is so cool ha ha! After this we travelled back home, went for a meal then i came home and went to bed... tired wasn't the word!
Back to work for me tonight until Sunday! I wanted to go and see Braking Dawn Prt.1 tomorrow night but i think our local cinema is fully booked so il just have to wait!

Have a good weekend...
With love
