Birthday/Wedding Celebration #OOTN

So last weekend on Saturday I was a birthday girl! Yes thats right that one time a year you get spoilt for just being born! I am now 26 years old... and feeling even older than that some days! On my birthday a friend of mine was getting married and I had been invited to their wedding reception at night. This made me happy that I was going to be apart of their special day, but at the same time it brought fear as I had no idea what to wear!
On the weeks coming unto my birthday I had searched all the high street shops and could not find anything that caught my eye. I was so stressed out but then it hit me... I decided to wear a dress that I had had brought for me a few months ago that was still brand new hanging up in my closet; I had just completely forgot that I had it! This was perfect, until I realised that I actually had no shoes to go with it, and so on my actual birthday I spent 5 hours actually looking for THE perfect shoes to match! I was so glad that I managed to find some as if I couldn't I would of had to of gone back to square one and found something different to wear!
Heres a few photos of my chosen look, please ignore my messy room.. these are just a few quick shots before I headed off to the party to I apologise for the poor quality.

1. Bodycon Dress: GLANCE - £5.00!
2. Pink Court Shoes: FAITH from DEBENHAMS - £22.50 (sale)
3. Gold Clutch Bag: MARC JACOBS - £ unknown as it was a birthday present
*Jewellery by New Look & Pandora*

1. The Dress

I absolutely love this dress, and no I haven't made a typo error above, it literally was £5.00! There has been so many of these types of dresses flying around lately in different colours and designs... but they're all the same at the end of the day when it comes to the style and shape and some were ranging from £10 to £40 that id seen. I saw this in a local shop of ours which has now unfortunately shut down and as soon as I saw the £5 sign I was sold! I love the colour of it and I love the floral pattern. I thought this was perfect for a wedding. My only worry was that it sticks to you so it shows up all your 'lumps and bumps'... but I popped it on and had a few drinks and my worries went away!

2. The Shoes

When I mentioned above that I had spent so many hours looking for some pink shoes, I literally had! I had been to so many different shoe shops and none had any in that were of any pink shade! I actually started to get upset, and I even went into one shop - found pink ones but then they didn't have my size! I eventually came across these beauties above, and they were in the sale and in a size 5! I could of jumped for joy! Debenhams was my saviour! These shoes are by Faith and were half price in the sale for £22.50. I love the deep colour of them and pink is my favourite colour so now Im happy that I actually own a pair of pink shoes!

3 & 4. The bag & the watch!

I have had this watch for over 3 years now and it was my first ever Marc Jacobs love! I love the white leather strap and the gold facia, I think it looks so rich and goes with so many different outfits. I was lucky enough to of had the gold clutch bag brought me for my birthday which I think is a perfect match for my watch! I know that the watch cost £160 but I am unsure of how much the clutch was. I cannot wait to style these again at christmas!

No outfit is complete without having lush nails... and so here was my #NOTN!

False Nails - Primark - £1.00!

Seen as these were pink they were a must have to complete my outfit, and them being glittery just sold it to me even more! I put these nails on on Saturday night and it is now Wednesday night and not one has come off! *touch wood*. I think these nails are such good quality for the price you really can't complain. You can see more of these nails in a recent post of mine here.

So there it is, my birthday/wedding outfit! Im really looking forward to styling more outfits ready for the upcoming christmas season. The thing I love most about this outfit is that it was all on a budget and doesn't brake the bank!

Have you got your party dress ready?

The futures bright, the futures orange! #ootn

So this weekend just gone I travelled to Burnley for one of my boyfriend's DJ events. As usual planning up to this event was stressful as I never know what to wear for a night out these days as most clothes now I find you have to be size 6 to fit in them and look good… In my case this cannot happen! I needed an outfit on a budget, and having shopped around for a few weeks Primark became my saviour once again, and saved the day (or night even).

Heres a few pictures of the clothes I managed to find, and how I put them together to create my OOTN.

Where to buy...
1. Orange Cami Top - PRIMARK - £4.00
2. Black Scalloped Edge Shorts with Cut Out Detail- PRIMARK - £10.00
3. Fashion Statement Necklace: Black&Gold - PRIMARK - £2.00 (Sale)
*link to the shoes only shows the shoes in black as cannot find the orange ones online, but sure they will be available in your local store*

I absolutely love this outfit, and the whole thing cost just £27.00! Heres a few more photos of the items that I chose to wear...

1. Orange Cami Top - PRIMARK - £4.00

Everyone loves a cami, and at £4.00 you just can't go wrong! Primark have these in all different colours. I chose this bright orange colour as I thought it would stand out against my choice of black shorts. These tops are also helpful for dressing up or down, whatever the occasion. Apologises for the creases, I have too many clothes in my closet and they get squashed!

2. Black Scalloped Edge Shorts with Cut Out DetailPRIMARK - £10.00

These shorts are my favourite! I love anything thats black, and the scalloped edge detail makes them more pretty… but with the added cut out detailing - they just make the perfect short! These shorts can be dressed up or dressed down with a t-shirt for a more casual look.

    3. Fashion Statement Necklace: Black&Gold - PRIMARK - £2.00 (Sale)

What need I say, I have so many different statement necklaces at home, and I think all the different ones out at the minute just make an outfit stand out.

I originally planned on wearing some black heels with a gold bar across them to bring out the black and gold in my chosen necklace, but after wandering around New Look I came across these amazing platform shoes! I was scared at first that I wouldn't be able to walk in them, but having the platform on them really helped and I was fine! For £11.00 I was so so happy, and they matched my cami vest top perfectly! These shoes also have the cut out detail, and once on the foot they are so so comfy and look really nice!

So theres my bargain outfit for last weekend… What do you all think? I really liked it and felt really comfy out wearing it as the cami and the shorts are both quite floaty when on :)

*apologises for the lighting, no filters used on any photos taken… this photo on the left is bright from the hotel room light, and obviously the one on the right is darker due to being outside at night time*

Have you dropped on any bargains just lately?

Latest haul- Cheshire Oaks and Primark!

So recently I was super excited as I went on my first ever trip to Cheshire Oaks! Im not sure if any of you have been but its AMAZING! They have all the top brands there… and I just fell in love with everything! Anyhow when I came back to realisation that I am in fact not rich, I was sensible and only brought a few treats! Ive also brought a few things from Primark too.. heres my haul from both!

So what did I get from Cheshire Oaks?

1. Ralph Lauren Crew Neck Jumper- £24.99 (Sale & outlet price, RRP £39.99)
I have always wanted one of these cable jumpers, and as soon as I saw it on sale I just had to get it. The pink colour is such a perfect shade!
2. Ralph Lauren Striped Shirt- £29.99 (Sale & outlet price, RRP £39.99)
I loved this shirt from the moment I saw it. Pair it with black skinny jeans, a white vest top and some sunglasses and your ready to go! I couldn't make my mind up as to which colour I wanted as it came in blue/white, lilac/white and pink/white.. but I went for a nice natural colour.

3. Radley purse! - £38.00 (Sale & outlet price, RRP £68.00)
If you follow me on Instagram or Twitter you will know how much I love dogs, especially my little dog Kimmy. The same goes for Radley- I love it, its so cute! Soon as I saw this purse it was to be mine! I love how this purse is only a medium size, but there is still enough room for all of my cards to fit in it!

What did I get from Primark?

1. False Nails- Primark- £1.00 each
I posted about some of these nails the other day which you can read here. I love these nails and they come in all different designs and colours, I just had to get some more!

2. Beige shoes! - Primark - £8.00
I was in desperate need for a new pair of flat shoes, for some reason they tend to wear out so quick! Anyway I fancied some lighter coloured ones ready for summer and thought that these were perfect with the gold detailing!

3. Belts- Primark- £2.00 (for both!)
For some reason I am always loosing my belts! These are perfect for different outfits, and such a bargain at £2.00 for both!

Have you been shopping recently? Have you spotted any bargains?

Weekend Haul; Topshop, Boots, Dunelm Mill, The Range & more!

This weekend i have gone a little spend crazy! I think its because i know i start back work tomorrow so my spending will be limited as i never get time to spend in the week... that sounds a good enough reason to me though to justify my spendings this weekend :) So here goes! On Saturday i found myself buying....

TONI&GUY Deep Barrel Waver, £34.99- BOOTS

I have recently been watching the lovely Lizabelly's vlog channel (which you can find here) I noticed that she did a tutorial using this product (you can find this here) and i just had to take the plunge and buy this because it just looked so good! I went straight to my local Boots to find this product, and it was sitting there waiting for me on the shelf. At £34.99 i couldn't resist!

Lock off, Barrel open
Lock on, Barrel closed
It is black with a yellow/mustard/gold colour onto making it stand out, has a 3m cord & has a variable temperature gauge. It is supposed to give you 'Ultra Deep Glamourous Waves'... I'm really hoping i can start to use this and get my hair wavy as i think its such a nice look for day or night! This product is also available online at Boots, and you can find it straight away here. You can buy this product directly from the TONI&GUY online shop here for £35, but it is a different colour to the one i have brought, and also Argos sell this product in-store & online here but this one is the greyish colour like the one available at the TONI&GUY online shop - I think mine is a yellow/gold colour as it is a Glamour edition. I have been asked by my friend Sarah who blogs at The Road To Being A Yummy Mummy to do a review on this product, which i am hoping to get done next week or the week after :)

Next on i went to Topshop! I found myself going straight to their makeup counter and looking at the lipsticks! I had to pick this one up, the colour is just so beautiful!

Macaroon Lipstick, £8- TOPSHOP

'Macaroon' Velvet Finish Lipstick- What more can you say apart from "I'm buying it" :) It is such a lovely coral peachy colour, and like the Matte Finish Moisturising lipstick that i mentioned in a previous post from Topshop in 'Tease' (which you can find here) it just glides straight on. This cost £8 like the others that are available. You can buy this in-store or online here. To buy this specific shade online you can find it here

Swatch of Macaroon Lipstick

Also from Topshop i managed to get myself some rather beautiful shoes in the sale...

Maggie Patent Bow T-Bar Shoes, £7- Topshop

These were £7 from £24 and i just love them! They have two little bows that touch your foot when fastened, and also have a few gold studs to make them stand out. I love the white toe cap at the front which contrasts with the black, it makes them look like tap dancing shoes- so cute! These are available at Topshop online here but most sizes have now sold out.

I then had to go into Poundland to get some bits and bobs for my mum, which is when i saw these beauties! I brought 2 aluminium skins for my iPhone 4s, and a phone case: all of which were £1 each!

Aluminium Skins, £1 each- POUNDLAND

Floral phone case, £1- POUNDLAND

When i saw these aluminium skins i was a little undecided at first as i thought "what if it looks silly" "what if it marks my phone" "will it even stay put on my phone" ... I brought them anyway regardless of this. I brought one in Pink and one in Purple. They also have Black & Silver available, and they are for the iphone4/4s. As soon as i came home i tried out the pink skin & it is fantastic... It makes me feel like ive had a brand new phone! You basically just pull the sticker off the back of the skin, align it upto your phone and press down and hey presto, its on!

I also love the folding floral phone case that i brought. It obviously protects your phones back and front when it it closed... and it is kind of Cath Kidston looking! Such great buys for £1 each!

Today i got a little bit bored and decided to head out again with mum, and yes you got it we went shopping again! This time though for the house :) We decided to go to The Range because we had'nt been in a while. When i came across this first purchase i almost jumped for joy...

Marylin Monroe Wall Art Canvas (3 piece), £8.99- THE RANGE

Anyone who knows me knows that i adore this woman, and when i saw these pictures i had to have them! My friend had these a long time ago but they sold out quite fast and i couldnt find them anywhere, then today when i went in they had a few back in stock! £8.99 is such a bargin for 3 lovely pictures! I have looked online to see if this is available but at the minute it is not showing up on their website.

Gingham Check Pots, £1.79- THE RANGE

I then saw these pots and had to have them as my mum gave me the idea of getting a few red accessories for my room to bring out the red lisptick on the canvas wall art that i was buying, i thought fab i will! Then i saw these and had to have them, they are hard pots and they have a cute ginham style bow on them with dangling polka dotted love hearts. I brought two as i am slightly ocd and have to have things matching. I am going to use one to store my makeup brushes because as you can see in the background of the picture my current one is too small... and maybe put hair brushes in the other one. Theres no way i wasnt buying these for £1,79! I have looked to see if these are available online but once again i cannot see them on the website.

We then went to Dunelm Mill, another place that i adore. I came across these fab table lamps...

Rosalie Felt Flower Table Lamp, £7.99- DUNELM MILL

These lamps are adorable and just what i needed. They have such a pretty flower in the middle of the red shade and a silver base to set it off. They currently have 20% off as they are usually £9.99. You can find this product available in-store or online here. When the lights are switched on the flower stands out even more as the shade becomes lighter- really pretty :)
I then got myself two little red pillows for my bed:

Abis Cushion, £3.19- Dunelm Mill

This product currently also has 20% off as they should be £3.99. The red is such a lovely colour, and the actual cushion cover has a sheen which adds to the effect :) You can find these pretty cushions online here and they're available in different colours.

So thats my haul of this weekends treats!
Hope you all had a lovely weekend
