Jump for the Ark angel! #ootn!

I have always loved jumpsuits, but feared with me being small I could never get away with wearing one. There has been so many lovely jumpsuits in the shops just recently, ranging from different colours and patterns. Every time I spotted one I would head over to it and say to myself "gosh I really want this"... but I always ended up walking away. There have also been so many I have liked online and especially on Instagram!
On a recent trip to Manchester I went into their local Ark store, and I fell in love. There in front of me was one particular jumpsuit that I had had my eye on for a while! I was feeling brave, picked up a s/m and headed straight to the till before I could change my mind!
Upon getting this beauty home and trying it on I instantly loved it even more! Heres how I styled it...

Jumpsuit - Ark - £15.00 (sale)
Black open toe heels - Dorothy Perkins - £24.99 (had for a few years)
Marc Jacobs clutch - Tk Maxx - £ unknown (present)

I always go into Ark whenever I'm in manchester. I hate that we do not have a store where I live, but it just makes it more exciting for when I can visit as they always have the hottest on the trend clothing! What I love most about this jumpsuit is that for one it is black! I am obsessed with black clothes and I can never shake the habit of buying black! I love the floral detail on this which I feel helps take away the eye from how short I am! This jumpsuit is so so comfy to wear, it literally feels like Im walking around wearing a onesie! Its perfect for the upcoming summer days and nights. I also really like that paired with some heels and a clutch it makes the perfect outfit for a night out with minimal effort! This jumpsuit was a bargain at £15 in the sale I just couldn't say no! I chose to wear some black open toe heels with it just to make me feel a little taller with only being short. I have seen this particular style and pattern in Quiz when shopping too! Heres a few pictures from getting ready for a meal out wearing my first ever jumpsuit!

This particular jumpsuit is no longer on Ark's website, but Im sure if you hurry to store they may have some left! Failing that they do have some other beautiful jumpsuits (also on sale) on their website which you can find here.

Are jumpsuits a hit or miss for you?

Birthday/Wedding Celebration #OOTN

So last weekend on Saturday I was a birthday girl! Yes thats right that one time a year you get spoilt for just being born! I am now 26 years old... and feeling even older than that some days! On my birthday a friend of mine was getting married and I had been invited to their wedding reception at night. This made me happy that I was going to be apart of their special day, but at the same time it brought fear as I had no idea what to wear!
On the weeks coming unto my birthday I had searched all the high street shops and could not find anything that caught my eye. I was so stressed out but then it hit me... I decided to wear a dress that I had had brought for me a few months ago that was still brand new hanging up in my closet; I had just completely forgot that I had it! This was perfect, until I realised that I actually had no shoes to go with it, and so on my actual birthday I spent 5 hours actually looking for THE perfect shoes to match! I was so glad that I managed to find some as if I couldn't I would of had to of gone back to square one and found something different to wear!
Heres a few photos of my chosen look, please ignore my messy room.. these are just a few quick shots before I headed off to the party to I apologise for the poor quality.

1. Bodycon Dress: GLANCE - £5.00!
2. Pink Court Shoes: FAITH from DEBENHAMS - £22.50 (sale)
3. Gold Clutch Bag: MARC JACOBS - £ unknown as it was a birthday present
*Jewellery by New Look & Pandora*

1. The Dress

I absolutely love this dress, and no I haven't made a typo error above, it literally was £5.00! There has been so many of these types of dresses flying around lately in different colours and designs... but they're all the same at the end of the day when it comes to the style and shape and some were ranging from £10 to £40 that id seen. I saw this in a local shop of ours which has now unfortunately shut down and as soon as I saw the £5 sign I was sold! I love the colour of it and I love the floral pattern. I thought this was perfect for a wedding. My only worry was that it sticks to you so it shows up all your 'lumps and bumps'... but I popped it on and had a few drinks and my worries went away!

2. The Shoes

When I mentioned above that I had spent so many hours looking for some pink shoes, I literally had! I had been to so many different shoe shops and none had any in that were of any pink shade! I actually started to get upset, and I even went into one shop - found pink ones but then they didn't have my size! I eventually came across these beauties above, and they were in the sale and in a size 5! I could of jumped for joy! Debenhams was my saviour! These shoes are by Faith and were half price in the sale for £22.50. I love the deep colour of them and pink is my favourite colour so now Im happy that I actually own a pair of pink shoes!

3 & 4. The bag & the watch!

I have had this watch for over 3 years now and it was my first ever Marc Jacobs love! I love the white leather strap and the gold facia, I think it looks so rich and goes with so many different outfits. I was lucky enough to of had the gold clutch bag brought me for my birthday which I think is a perfect match for my watch! I know that the watch cost £160 but I am unsure of how much the clutch was. I cannot wait to style these again at christmas!

No outfit is complete without having lush nails... and so here was my #NOTN!

False Nails - Primark - £1.00!

Seen as these were pink they were a must have to complete my outfit, and them being glittery just sold it to me even more! I put these nails on on Saturday night and it is now Wednesday night and not one has come off! *touch wood*. I think these nails are such good quality for the price you really can't complain. You can see more of these nails in a recent post of mine here.

So there it is, my birthday/wedding outfit! Im really looking forward to styling more outfits ready for the upcoming christmas season. The thing I love most about this outfit is that it was all on a budget and doesn't brake the bank!

Have you got your party dress ready?

The futures bright, the futures orange! #ootn

So this weekend just gone I travelled to Burnley for one of my boyfriend's DJ events. As usual planning up to this event was stressful as I never know what to wear for a night out these days as most clothes now I find you have to be size 6 to fit in them and look good… In my case this cannot happen! I needed an outfit on a budget, and having shopped around for a few weeks Primark became my saviour once again, and saved the day (or night even).

Heres a few pictures of the clothes I managed to find, and how I put them together to create my OOTN.

Where to buy...
1. Orange Cami Top - PRIMARK - £4.00
2. Black Scalloped Edge Shorts with Cut Out Detail- PRIMARK - £10.00
3. Fashion Statement Necklace: Black&Gold - PRIMARK - £2.00 (Sale)
*link to the shoes only shows the shoes in black as cannot find the orange ones online, but sure they will be available in your local store*

I absolutely love this outfit, and the whole thing cost just £27.00! Heres a few more photos of the items that I chose to wear...

1. Orange Cami Top - PRIMARK - £4.00

Everyone loves a cami, and at £4.00 you just can't go wrong! Primark have these in all different colours. I chose this bright orange colour as I thought it would stand out against my choice of black shorts. These tops are also helpful for dressing up or down, whatever the occasion. Apologises for the creases, I have too many clothes in my closet and they get squashed!

2. Black Scalloped Edge Shorts with Cut Out DetailPRIMARK - £10.00

These shorts are my favourite! I love anything thats black, and the scalloped edge detail makes them more pretty… but with the added cut out detailing - they just make the perfect short! These shorts can be dressed up or dressed down with a t-shirt for a more casual look.

    3. Fashion Statement Necklace: Black&Gold - PRIMARK - £2.00 (Sale)

What need I say, I have so many different statement necklaces at home, and I think all the different ones out at the minute just make an outfit stand out.

I originally planned on wearing some black heels with a gold bar across them to bring out the black and gold in my chosen necklace, but after wandering around New Look I came across these amazing platform shoes! I was scared at first that I wouldn't be able to walk in them, but having the platform on them really helped and I was fine! For £11.00 I was so so happy, and they matched my cami vest top perfectly! These shoes also have the cut out detail, and once on the foot they are so so comfy and look really nice!

So theres my bargain outfit for last weekend… What do you all think? I really liked it and felt really comfy out wearing it as the cami and the shorts are both quite floaty when on :)

*apologises for the lighting, no filters used on any photos taken… this photo on the left is bright from the hotel room light, and obviously the one on the right is darker due to being outside at night time*

Have you dropped on any bargains just lately?
