Sleepy Sundays #3

Sooo its that time of the week again; Sunday, and what a week its been! Lots of drama has been going on this week including at work and at home... sometimes i just want to curl up in a ball and hide away! After working all week I've had this weekend to relax and do what the hell i want... therefore resulting in shopping yesterday and going out for a few drinks last night to watch a pretty cool band. Today hasn't really consisted of much... I've just lazed about, cleared out a a few of my clothes and reorganised my closet, and blogged :) The sun seems to of gone missing again, someone tell it to come back!!

I dont really have much planned for next week other than i shall be working Monday through to Saturday with Tuesday and Sunday as my days off... and on Tuesday i plan to meet up with Hayley who runs the The Casbah blog... Go follow her she's lovely :) We shall perhaps be making a joint blog post?? Who knows.

Fathers Day is vastly approaching which i am not looking forward to at all. Its been just over a year and a half since my Dad died, and it still feels like yesterday... its not making it any easier by having junk emails saying 'Book your table for Fathers Day now!"... i defo need to log on to my emails and unsubscribe! I do hope you all plan lots of lovely things for your Dad's though... time is precious so enjoy every moment with those who mean the most to you!

Anyway i think thats all for this weeks "Sleepy Sundays" post... Keep reading as i have some very existing news coming up.. but i can't announce it just yet, so keep checking back to see if i reveal all :)

Hey, i put some new shoes on and suddenly every things right...

Hello my lovely's.. i hope your all well! Just a little post to show you all my beautiful new shoes! 

I went for a little shopping trip on my day off today, and saw these and just couldn't resist... I had them brought for me too which is another bonus :) I had been looking for some summery shoes for a while but hadn't seen anything that took my fancy until i met these beauties....

Shoes size 5: PRIMARK £6

Yes thats right, these gorgeous summer sandals were only £6 from Primark!! They were originally £10 but reduced to £6, so i couldn't say no... they are just so me! 

A flip flop design customised perfectly. Pink feathers with a few grey, and silver diamontes to add the finishing touch. They are a little big around the ankle seen as they are a zip up at the back, but thats just because i do have really thin ankles but i honestly dont care... these shoes are going to be my new summer favourites! I can't wait to wear them, especially at holiday times... they just sparkle in the sun! They did have the same shoe but in a different design, more like a tapestry material design with little cotton tassels... i may go back and get those as they were equally as nice :)

Smile with those pink lips..

So after much consideration & listening to people's comments on the new L'Oreal Rouge Caresse lipstick, I finally decided to go out and buy some.

At £7.99, I was expecting a great buy.. But sadly I do not believe so. There are so many colours to choose from, but from the moment i saw this advertised i knew which i wanted. I chose shade 01-'Fashionista Pink'.. The colour looks beautiful, and is darker than a normal pink lipstick that I have worn in the past.

The packaging is lovely, nice and simple but elegant. I have used this 3 times and the colour just doesn't work for me. When I put it on it was so creamy and smooth to my lips, lots of moisture.. But the colour literally came off within 5 minutes if wearing it.. Not what I would expect from something that isn't necessarily cheap.

I think I will try again as usually L'Oreal products are good quality.. So I guess I could try a different colour, but sadly for me this lovely colour does not get my vote.

Have you tried this lipstick?? Has your experience been different? Xxxxx
